About
Joe recently graduated from the UI/UX Product Design Bootcamp at Flatiron School, building on his bachelor’s degree in Emergent Digital Practices from the University of Denver, where he also minored in Studio Art and Spanish. Focused on composition, simplicity, and abstraction, Joe’s art is visually balanced and harmonious, encouraging viewers to derive their own interpretations and meanings. As he transitions into the realm of product design, he merges his artistic skills with an understanding of future technologies, crafting products that are both functional and visually compelling. Striving from collaboration and communication within his team, Joe approaches each project with a vision of incorporating the company’s unique personality into a design that avoids the trends of the UI world.
In addition to his studies, Joe is also a professional climber. He has competed for Team USA in the IFSC world circuit for the past five years and is the 2021 Panamerican Bouldering and Combined climbing champion. He has also competed in multiple Olympic qualifying events.
Originally from Boulder, Colorado, Joe has always shown a high level of creativity and is eager to show his work to the world.
